I just want to let the community out there know that I had a mastectomy on November 20, 2008, followed by chemo and radiation. Thirteen lymph nodes were removed including the axilla area. I have lymphedema. After little success from a lymphedema massage therapist the Flexitouch Lymphedema System was recommended. My lymphedema has greatly improved. Now I'm pursuing Kinesio Taping for Lymphoedema and even though it's only been three days, I am starting to see much improvement.

I see so many people in my daily goings on that have not even heard that there are actually things available to relieve our lymphedema swelling and most importantly the pain associated with therapist tapings, etc. I am constantly researching new remedies that otherwise are not available to us.
