CAN ANYONE PLEASE HELP ME WITH INFO ON TRAVELING BY PLANE. I AM GOING TO VEGAS IN OCT AND WORRY ABOUT HOW IT MIGHT AFFECT MY ARM. I GOT LYMPHEDEMA 3 YEARS AGO AFTER A FALL. THE TOP PART OF THE ARM IS ONLY AFFECTED IT VARIES IN SIZE FROM 18 1/4 TO 20 1/2 AROUND DEPENDING ON HOW MUCH I USE IT. I READ THAT I NEED A COMPRESSION SLEEVE AND ANTIBOTICS (JUST IN CASE) WHEN I GO. pLEASE ANYONE THAT HAS TRAVELED WITH THIS HORRIBLE CONDITION PLEASE LET ME KNOW. I DID GET A 1ST CLASS SEAT BECAUSE I WANT TO BE COMFORTABLE. I ONLY HAVE ABOUT 50% USE OF MY ARM BECAUSE OF ACCIDENT I CAN ONLY LIFT IT SHOULDER HIGH.

Hi there all,
I am a BC survivor of 5 years now...wow as I made it this far! Getting ready to retire from my sales job in NJ and hoping to find a way to give back and help the LE community. Got tons of experience knocking down doors and open to suggestions? Since I have LE in my trunk area, figure that massage therapy is not going to work for me as it cause my LE to flare.
Any suggestions?

I have non-cancer related lymphedema in my legs now for about 18 years now. I am 62 years old. My doctor who treated me is no longer in the Philadelphia area. Could someone recommend a lymphedema doctor who can advise me. I still use my same therapist for measuring my legs for compression hose but I would like to annually see a physician. My GP has been writing my prescriptions for therapy. Thanks.
PS- I was also considering seeing an acupuncturist for my lymphedema. Any thoughts??

I have a pt with a very stubborn case. I am having a difficult time decongesting the dorsum of her hand with the traditional method of bandaging with finger wraps and the hand wrapping I learned at the school. Anyone have any suggestions to modify the bandage. She is compliant with wearing the bandage and we are doing MLD 5 x per week.
