I am wondering if using a vibration massager on my arm could help when I am doing the drainage massage. I use a pump one hour a day and sleep in a night sleeve and wear a 30 40 compression sleeve daily. In addition I do drainage massage once or twice a day ....the area of my forearm close to the elbow is firmer and only recedes after a night with the Jovi Pak on. I use chip packs with the pump in hopes of breaking that tissue down and I thought of using a vibrator on it for the same reason.

Hi! I am new to the site. Not sure this is the best avenue to get this info across, but I am an acute care PT and went for my certification at Norton School 2 years ago. I am working on developing the acute care lymphedema program at my hospital in North Carolina. Any other therapists work in acute care with pts with lymphedema or have a colleague that does that would be willing to talk/email with me about some common issues and concerns with this population? Thanks so much! I look forward to networking with all of you.
