HI, I had a terrible freak accident resulting in a huge hole in my lower right leg. I just started my Lympedema therapy. Does anyone if it works and how many months it might take for the hole in my leg to heal? And the swelling to go away? I am just devastated that this happened. I spent five days in the hospital with intensive treatment. I hate living like this.

I think that life is unfair. I have lymphedema on my legs and now I am starting to have swelling on my arm after an insect bite! It is a very stressing disease both physically and emotionally. I wish if this world has no more suffering for humans !

I had a total knee replacement in May, and developed Lymphedema approximately 2 months after the surgery. This is all new to me, and I am still learning. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Excercise, diet, etc.
