It sounds like you have a plan in place, I would just be careful about "taking patients" from the hospital clinic that you will be working at and bringing them to a private practice. Usually insurance pays better when the treatment is received at a hospital based practice rather than a private practice. That being said, there are plenty of private practices around that do just fine. The charge schedule is different between the 2, however, and you would need to find out from the hospital's billing department what theirs is. I work in Freehold and you are more than welcome to come up and see how we do things as well! We have 11 CLT's in our hospital based practice! less

I will be doing my own advertising and obtaining referrals to obtain my own caseload within a already established practice . I am interested in any information on what I may need to start this practice , any insight on a brand of massage tables that are reliable and useful, insurance, how much to charge ect... Iam open to any insight on things I may encounter starting this practice and how to make this a successful endeavor! Thx! less

My pt reports that she can only do what she can do and needs to have a day off during the week and during the weekend. I have educated her on the importance of compliance and that any progress made will be lost if she does not continue to utilize the bandages during the intense phase. Does anyone have any ideas on how to help her or if it is worth treating her if she is only partially compliant . less
