Because I have a larger upper arm only certain brands will fit. I'm told Mediven has changed hands. Now they have an unrealistic return policy for alterations. So I just spent $300 for a custom sleeve that I can't wear. Its already been altered once. Its 2 months old. So when your sleeve doesn't fit and has to be returned for alterations your left without a viable option to control your lymphedema. The Kinesio tape has really helped to keep my swelling down.  less

Over the counter sleeves don't work for my arm so I have to have custom made. Its a huge challenge to get the sleeves to fit...  moreI have secondary lymphedema in my arm and trunk post mastectomy. I'm so fed up with the compression sleeves that are available. Over the counter sleeves don't work for my arm so I have to have custom made. Its a huge challenge to get the sleeves to fit even the 2nd or 3rd fitting. ( fitted by a professional) Each time the sleeve has to be returned to Germany. And then it has to start over in 6-8 months time because they don't last any longer than that. I have been wearing a compression bra day and night from WearEase to address the swelling and soreness under my arm that spreads around to my back. Its too painful for a regular bra band around my torso.
  In just the last week I have started using kinesio tape on my body and my arm instead of a sleeve during the day.  Now I don't have to wear the bra at night. I have still been wearing my night sleeve. 
  I am very excited because I am experiencing fantastic results. So far, the measurements don't lie. Don't want to jinx it but maybe this is going to work better than a sleeve and be much more comfortable.  less
