    Diane Hazelbaker I'm going to PT right now plus I spent a week working with a Lymphedema specialist who taught me how to massage myself daily to encourage lymph drainage and then to wrap my hand and arm each night.  During the day I wear both a sleeve and glove to...  moreI'm going to PT right now plus I spent a week working with a Lymphedema specialist who taught me how to massage myself daily to encourage lymph drainage and then to wrap my hand and arm each night.  During the day I wear both a sleeve and glove to compress my affected area.  So far, nothing is helping including a cortisone shot which wore off in less than 7 weeks.  I possibly need surgery on my shoulder for rotator cuff repair, but it is not advised until Lymphedema clears up.  I'm in pain 24/7, and I'm tired of it!  I'm so sorry you are in pain, too, Kim.  Have you tried any f these treatments to help?  Did they improve your pain at all?  less

    Diane Hazelbaker I'm happy to find this community!  I really need to figure out how to help my body "settle down" on my right arm swelling.  I am a two-time cancer survivor for 9 yrs. now, but this Lymphedema problem just started in November with arthritic thumb joint...  moreI'm happy to find this community!  I really need to figure out how to help my body "settle down" on my right arm swelling.  I am a two-time cancer survivor for 9 yrs. now, but this Lymphedema problem just started in November with arthritic thumb joint and tendinitis happened.  Anybody else relate to this?

      kim guesno I can relate to you .I were a thumb brace and brace on elbow and have had 2 cortisone shots and still my arm is killing me.
