My lymphedema is in my left foot and I'm lucky to have been able to found out what it was in an early stage. I'm still going through all different emotions, anger, sadness, happiness (of not having something life threatening), frustration, self pity, denial, acceptance, etc. etc. I can't even count how many different feelings I've had since all this started.

In any case I just wanted to say hi and of course ask you a question :-) … have any of you tried the Farrow Microfine Trim-to-Fit Toe Cap? I can provide the link if you haven’t heard of it.   It's expensive and I wanted to see if anyone has first hand (foot) experience with it.

PS. Have a great weekend!  less

I think Steve had mentioned the toe cap to me, but if you can send the website that would be great. I need to find the book that I recommended to another member about overcoming the emotions that invade us. Just know that you are not alone and these emotions are normal, but don't let the anger and everything else control you or hide them under the rug. Because it will then fester. You need a good support system. My support system consists of my bible and I rest assured in Genesis 50:20 that what the enemy means for evil, God turns into good. So it may seem crazy that lymphedema is a part of your life, but we all have a purpose. You have lymphedema yes, but it doesn't make you who you are. Have a great day :-) Ooo, and I need to find the title of the book!  less

It is an EXCELLENT read for any LE patient, but especially for the patient who has been newly-diagnosed. It takes awhile to sift through all those early emotions we have and finally come to the acceptance that this is something we will have to deal with FOREVER, but that it will NOT control our lives.....

  • Michele E. I am delving into essential oil living. Oils have several healing properties. Does anyone have any experience with it whether topical or ingestion?
