For me a lot of it is aesthetic and I also feel extremely fortunate that it's in my leg and not my arm. At least I can "hide" under long pants and skirts. I hope i don't sound too whiny. I too am hoping for a medical development. if i were younger I'd go to medical school and specialize in lymphedema. :-)

Once i found out what it was i was able to find the right places to go for help. Unfortunately, no matter where i turn there is no complete relief...i do what i can to minimize the symptoms and try to be grateful that it is not something more severe and that if i have to have something wrong...at least its my feet...not my face!!! Although I dread this time of year...obviously much harder to cover up and dress comfortably! Maybe in time they will find something that will relieve us all from this!!!  less

I am continually frustrated that the medical community is so clueless about this condition.
