  • Dale MacGowan My wife, 66, has been dealing with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma for the last 3 1/2 years. her alternative medicine doctor states that she is likely cancer free, but she is dealing with swollen lymph nodes in various parts of her body. does anyone know if lymphatic massage has been helpful with dealing with the blockage in such a case. thanks for any help you may be able to give me.

  • corcoran corinne I did not look into this. I was hoping someone had experience/knowledge with this surgery. That and my lymphedema was under control. Well that has changed and it is 'growing' yet again. I would love to get your feedback after you visit them. Here are two other links you may be interested in. Thanks for the post and hope to hear from you again.  http://drmarga.com/what-is-lymphedema.html http://www.nytimes.com/2011/06/21/health/21lymph.html?_r=1

  • Margaret Brahm I just joined this community -- have lymphedema in one leg as a result of surgery for endometrial cancer (and probably exacerbated by other abdominal surgery, even though that didn't involve lymph node removal).   I'm going to be in France in October and am curious about what resources might be available there to explore.   I understand much of what we know/do re: lymphedema originated in Europe and I wonder if there are clinics there trying new therapies.  Anyone have any thoughts?  Thank you.
