I have a question: I am treating a pt. now that has swelling at left neck in the venous angle area that I am having a hard time decreasing with regular MLD. I stopped going to the inguinal area oon the same side beacuse the return made it swell more. Have been focusing on directing it to oppposite axillary and venous angle. Any ideas? Thanks Lynne

I just found this site while looking for information on clothes that I might be able to find for my lymphedema effected legs. I wasn't aware of such a community and it makes me feel a little better to know there is a group here that will know exactly what I am going through :)
I contracted lymphedema after a bout with severe cellulitis back in 2006 - the infection damaged my lymphatics beyond repair. As it became worse over time, I began to relegate most of my pants to the back of the closet, as the legs were too narrow to wear comfortably.
Unfortunately, I am having a hard time finding large men's clothing with wide legs at a price that isn't going to break my bank. Does anyone have any advice? Depending on cut and brand, my waist size is 52 / 54.
I look forward to getting involved here and talking with people who know and understand my frustrations.
