    Theresa Bell Yep, still at Inova Fairfax; we have lymphedema clinics at Loudon (may be a little closer to you) and Alexandria. VA Hosp. Center in Arlington is also pretty good ( I sent my Mother in law there since I didn't feel I should treat her)

The pediatrician was not worried--said this is normal? When I babysit I notice that the swelling has become fibrotic and very discolored. There is still no concern on the parents part because the doc keeps telling them it is normal. Could this be a form of  primary lymphedema of the genitalia? Looking through the Foeldi text there are photos of adult males with genitals that look just like this baby's. Am I being over-concerned?

    Staff Certified Lymphedema Therapist I think you are being justifiably concerned. sounds like he should get checked out by a doc that specializes in lymphedema!
