Heather Shortall When I am walking for exercise, the top of my arm above my sleeve gets sore. Is this normal? Is there anything that I can do to help? I know when I am finished and take the sleeve off it does not hurt as much. Thanks!

Heather Shortall I discovered that I have a run in my gauntlet that I bought last month. Any suggestions on how to prevent it from getting bigger?

Sylvia Perlowski Also consider using a needle designed for knit fabrics. Rather than a sharp point, it has a rounded point that is less likely to snag. Get at a fabric store. When I wore panty hose, we often pot a small dot of fingernail polish at the bottom of the run,

Anne Rock Good idea about the needle, Sylvia. I hadn't thought of that. I used nail polish too, but I wouldn't trust nail polish with compression hose.

Heather Shortall I am allergic to latex so my sleeve does not have the silicone border. I am having a hard time keeping the top flat. It keeps rolling and I have the Jobst adhesive glue. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Lymphedema Community Staff It is a spray or lotion that goes on wet so it acts like a lubricant but then dries like an adhesive. It is not very different from the It Stays but some customers have found that it works better for them when they are not able to use silicone.
