I understand how shocked you were when your legs started changing. I was always quite thin and had Olive Oil legs (LOL) so when mine started swelling at first no one believed me when I kept repeating something was wrong. To them, my legs looked normal....but "normal" legs for me are swollen legs. I finally took the bull by the horns and found a CLT in my town who started measuring my legs, teaching me how to wrap and massage, then sent all her findings, including the skin changes, to my oncologist. She told them I have LE from just under my breasts down to the tip of my toes. Thanks to her my diagnosis was confirmed. Without her, I fear I would still be fighting those doctors who just couldn't see that things were terribly wrong. I started out at Stage 1 and with work have regressed to Stage 0....tho when I am on my feet for a long time or out in the heat they swell back to something resembling Stage 1-2 so I know I have to keep up the work. My biggest challenge has been diet. ~~sigh~~ I continue to gain weight so I must must must get a handle on that asap. It's a whole new world but we CAN DO THIS!!!! ((((((HUGS)))))) less
