    summer is rough. I commute into the Upper Eastside and it is pretty miserable with the sleeve. I'm lucky really that mine is a mild case but I still worry that it will get worse and especially when I fly. Regards.

    My name is Claire and I too am a 10 year survivor and have had lymphedema for 9 years in my right arm. I was able to get a machine to do massaging and wear a sleeve during the day. I have to buy shirts larger because I can't wear anything tight. My swelling gets worse in the summer and at times is very un-comfortable but this will never go away.

    in my right arm. I wear a sleeve from wrist to shoulder every day, is not any worse but not any better.
    Living with it but don't like that some long sleeved shirts are tight !!
