I do hope that we can continue to spread the word and generate a buzz before the show, generating more and more listeners to hear this unique show honoring all Lymphedema patients' struggles and the hope for more awareness to create a cure.

Let me know what other ideas you might have to generate PR buzz for this show, Jenny.

    Thanks for your support!!

Kathryn Krastin → Brenda Pittman: I have had quite a bit of therapy done on my calves, but my thighs need it to. Taking one step at a time. My right side is much worse than my left, but is steadily improving. Hoping that yours is also continuing to improve.

Hey, I guess I need to be online for you to chat with me. I haven't been on in a few days.

To answer your question, I am trying to see what is new in the Lymphedema world, trying to stay on top of what is happening to see if there is any new treatment, garment, tool, etc that can help get my legs more normalized.

Plus I get frustrated at times with the hurdles that are placed in front of us -- even by the very doctors that are supposed to be advocating for us. (Lately, I needed to replace the Juxtafit garments that are over a year old and splitting from the bottom, but she refused because she doesn't like the provider I was getting mine through. I should have the option of getting my garment from whatever provider I feel best advocates for me -- especially advocating with the insurance company, etc.)

    Grrr....

Hope you are having a good journey with this condition overall. Thanks for stopping by my profile.  less

  • Steve Norton Fantastic. Welcome to the profession. I wish you the best in this important field and patient population.
  • Jenny Sterner Today, we lost someone from our community who meant so much to so many of us, including myself.  I will miss Pat terribly, although we never met in person.  The below is reposted from the Advocates for Lymphedema Yahoo group; it is truly a very sad day.   It is with great sadness that I must send this message. Pat O'Connor, Founder of Lymphedema People, Huge Advocate for those who have Lymphedema, etc., passed away this morning in his sleep, per a message that I received via the Lymphedema People Facebook Group page per his son. He leaves behind a huge group of friends and family including daughter - Emily and family, son - Patrick Jr and family as well as several sisters and other family members. Once I have more information in regards to funeral/memorial I will pass on all information. Nessa
