Last year she had a CT scan w/barium sulfate contrast suspension.  She reported to me the next day that the evening after the MLD work she was sure that she could almost taste the barium.  Possible that some of it had been been in her for a year?

Her treating physician sent her out of town, she was told to come back when she had lymphedema there was nothing they could do for her.   less

I'm very pleased that you became certified and chose the Norton School. You are in a unique position actually since you would not be able to work on patients preemptively as you suggest and bill those services as a PT , OT. They must have a definitive diagnosis first. There is much an MT can do and certainly the benefits of MLD are many and perhaps the most important gift we can give an at risk patient. Please feel free to call me at my office 732-290-288 since it'd be a lengthy discussion. Bests Steve  less
